FSA Sitespiral workshop resource list:
Compiled by Jules Galbraith & Flora Fauna who I love very much because they are great
HTML and CSS resources:
Before attending the workshop, we recommend you take 5-10 minutes to look over this list and download and set up any necessary materials.
We also advise that you come prepared with text and images you’d like to use on your final webpage. This step is not necessary but would allow you to have a finished page by the end of the workshop.
Text editors:
Please download atom prior to the workshop!
option to also use your computer's native notapad application, but atom is free and streamlines aspects of the process.
Free hosts:
Please make an account on one of these! We will be using Netlify during the workshop, but if you want to
use Github
(marginally more complex) or Neocities (marginally less complex) please feel
free to do so, and we can talk briefly if you need some more guidance getting set up.
Domain marketplaces:
Please buy your domain name from one of these marketplaces, ideally ahead of time. We’ll be going over how to set up domain names during the workshop.
